This proverb is about being fearless, about not caring what other people think. It says that thrushes sleep regardless of the noise the bells make. But that isn’t the proverb that comes to our minds if we are talking about disregarding other people’s opinions. Our proverb has ugly winter clothes, it speaks of feeling warm, regardless of other people’s laughter.
