ORIGINS: Look at the eyes of the older brother that’s holding a peacock in his hands in the original series. They made us think of a peacock’s tail, with strawberries instead of evil eyes. And since shoes were the motif of that series, we thought that it would be nice to carry on the tradition.

Some say that the soul dwells in the eyes. We believe that words have souls too. Thus, we turned some words into the eyes of these children.
Our wishing well doesn’t accept any more coins. In order to obtain their heart’s wish these children must sacrifice something warmer, something more meaningful.
Some people have a head full of birds. We believe that thoughts resemble flies. Flies that lurk inside and outside our heads. And still we cannot stop feeding on those flies, lest we starve.
In the depths of the forest trees aren’t alone. There are birds. There are hearts. And it is well known that every heart holds wishes. Just like every tree has its birds. Beware of those wishes.
