Hearts and mischievous ants.

The first word was heart. In the next page there was a mischievous child. And the ants appeared because they share part of that child’s name.

There is a child. There is a mother that is tired of her son’s mischief. Broom in hand, the mother is still dealing with the ants that took over her home after the child’s last trick. What the mother doesn’t know is that those ants didn’t sneak in through the garden door. Yes, the child scattered sugar cubes all over the floor for the ants. But not for the ones outside. Those sugar cubes were for the ants that the child keeps in his heart. The ones that make sure it beats, and the child remains a child. But the mother doesn’t know that. And she uses her broom. To sweep the ants away. Back to the garden, where she believes they came from.
